Holiday gift giving is right around the corner…can you believe it?! It seems as though it approaches faster every year. I guess having little ones will do that! Well, this is the year that I’m determined not to procrastinate….to get ahead of the game by planning ahead and ordering early. I’ve been researching ways to consolidate my shopping experience, and big thanks to companies like IncrediBundles, they make gift giving so easy and convenient. Hooray!
It’s that scary-good time of year again which can only mean one thing. It’s time to transform your home into a haunted home! Halloween has always been a favorite holiday of mine to decorate, and this year is no different. Not only do I love all of the spooky decor, but putting it out is always a sure sign that the holiday season has officially begun…hooray!
How is my baby already ONE?! I still haven’t wrapped my head around it yet. Yes, the days at times seem long, but gosh- do the years ever fly by. I remember the day I delivered her so well…and now look at her! She’s a babbling, crawling, full of teeth, one year old. I think the most bittersweet part of Anna turning one is that it’s really the sign of all signs that she is no longer my little baby. Even her clothes are now considered toddler size. It’s inevitable she grows, I know…but sometimes I find myself holding on tight to the baby stage, and I’m just not ready to let it go. Cue the mama tears!
One Year Ago. Such a little peanut!!
Because our family lives all out of state, we decided to celebrate her birthday during our vacation in Michigan at my sister’s home. It was small with only about ten family members, but we still made sure we celebrated in style. It was the most perfect day just for her!
We made it a garden themed party not only because we could use pretty floral decor, but because as I mentioned before, she’s growing up! Growing up and blooming as a garden does, but into a little lady. (Okay, okay. That’s a tad over the top…even for me. ha!) 😉
Below I have detailed out what we used for the decor, food, and favors. I couldn’t have been more pleased with how it all turned out!
